New life to pitch & roll bellows

Adding pneumatic material to revitalize the pitch bellows.

Our C-3 pitch and roll bellows needed to be refurbished.  They were stiff, leaking vacuum, and barely moving the trainer.  This video shows how to bring them back into working order.

Bellows better now

 

We removed the ANT-18’s bellows, cleaned ’em up, replaced the pneumatic cloth,  replaced the exhausters, and soaked all the metal parts in degreaser. Dare we try vacuum again . . .
