The yoke removes easily with two base bolts and by disengaging the linkage arm. Our ANT-18’s yoke had been poorly repaired in a former life. The bell crank was misaligned, and we had to make a new linkage arm.
The gearing, bell crank, and linkage arm are exposed inside the back of the yoke casting. After a good cleanup, lubrication, and some paint, it works well now.
