Tom Alferman, Mark Loiacono, and Charles “Rusty” King are members of The Long Island Early Flier’s Education Foundation (aka The Long Island Early Flier’s Club) at Bayport Aerodrome (23N), Bayport, NY. They are restoring an ANT-18. They are also developing a new web site; we’ll post a link here when it launches so you can watch the progress.
January 2024 update:
Blueboxdriver.com received an update from Tom Alferman. He reported that the Long Island Early Fliers Education Foundation has finished the restoration of their ANT-18 Link Trainer with the exception of the desk. He thinks they will always be tweaking things, but it’s together and it functions.
